Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Functions: • Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding. • Maintain accurate employee records, including contracts, performance reviews, and leave tracking. • Implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws. • Address employee inquiries and handle grievances professionally. • Organize training sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities. • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment aligned with church values.Administrative Functions: • Oversee office supplies, placing orders as needed. • Prepare reports on expenses, budgets, and administrative activities. • Maintain an organized filing system for important and confidential documents. • Manage church calendars, schedules, and bookings for meetings and events. • Coordinate correspondence, including letters, emails, and deliveries. • Arrange travel and accommodation for church staff and visitors. • Schedule and coordinate internal and external events, ensuring logistics are in place.
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HR and Administrative roles (church or non-profit experience preferred). • Strong knowledge of HR practices, including recruitment and employee relations. • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. • Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming and professional demeanor. • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. • Familiarity with church operations and Christian faith-based practices. • BSc/HND in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
